Plague of the Ebon Rose-Ch. 3--New BeginningChapter 3- New Beginning

Sara sat quietly in her tent, staring at her hands. It had been hours ago but she could

still feel the warmth and joy of it. It made her feel so strange. She could feel the

rift in her soul, the side that was dark and longed for blood. But she remembered the

other side. The part of her that felt happy when Seluna congratulated her, the side that

was so eager to learn. She never saw any others shift like her. They only showed two

emotions, hate and anger. And for some, they were cruel or neutral expressions. Seluna

was the only one she saw with some hint at a smile. Maybe that's why she felt better

He cut deep into her skin but her express never seemed to change, she wouldn't even flinch. Her heart beat had yet to stop, her blood was still warm. Her eyes did not even glow. So far, his plan was going well. She looked perfectly alive and well but her loyalty would remain with her new master.
